About Us

Pipestone Property Services, LLC. (Pipestone) is a wholly owned unit of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe of South Dakota. 

As such, Pipestone is a key part of the Lower Brule Corporation (LBC), which is the economic development corporation of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe. LBC was formed to organize and execute the tribal council's economic growth strategy. Pipestone plays a central role in creating "Economic Self-Sufficiency" for the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe. As such, Pipestone's name, drawn from the Sioux account of origin, pays homage to our past yet also signifies entrance into the larger business world.
